Jorja Smith — Lost & Found

My first proper Jorja Smith listening experience. And the multiple listens I gave it throughout the week was I guess testament to how much of a fan I am now. She’s got amazing vocal range and talent, showcased from theatre-y ballads like “Tomorrow” to more ad-hoc sounding tracks such as “Lifeboats Freestyle”, all bringing fire delivery regardless.

The album also benefits from these occasional breaks/drumloops that appear on the songs. Obviously dependent on the vibe of what’s going on, but you can argue these are unsung heroes that contribute to how good it sounds.

In short, hell yes I like her music!
